Futuristic Iglo
A futuristic Iglo made from abstract shapes using cardboard, paint, wood & textile, projected on with slides and VPT mapped video.

Timelapse Mural
A mural made in the space over the course of a few days, being timelapse recorded. This timelapse was looped to play back and forth, rearprojected on a screen hanging in the space across the mural.

Soundsculpture
Two cones using old telephone microphones, one cone was placed outside the space, the other one inside.
The signal was amplified so that one user could speak and the other could listen.

WORKSHOP : VIDEO & ANIMATION IN PHYSICAL SPACE at MADT (Media Art & Digital Technology)

In this workshop we will work with various technologies in order to create physical installatios using various technologies involving the use of video, animation and videomapping.

Marieke Verbiesen (NL)

Marieke Verbiesen is a Dutch Artist and Animator working with diffrent projects in Electronic Arts and Interactive Design since 2003 including creative work with music, film and video. Her work is based on Hardware, Computergames, Movies and Popular Culture.
She has participated in the collaborative projects 8 Bit Box & Videohomehometraining, creating music & live-animations with gameconsoles.
She is also a freelance teacher in New Media at the Royal Artacademy in Bergen, Norway, and works for the Bergen Centre for Electronic Art.
